Strawberry and Spinach Salad with Poppy Seed



2 cups strawberries, sliced
1 pound spinach leaves
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon poppy seeds


Yield: 6 servings

  1. Heat the ingredients for the dressing (sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar and olive oil) until the sugar dissolves. Add the poppy seeds and cool.
  2. Toss dressing over strawberries and spinach.
