Bartlett Pear and Mango Salsa

medium Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and cut into small chunks

1/2 large mango, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch dice

1/3 cup yellow bell pepper, finely chopped

1/3 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced  ( if more heat is desired, leave some seeds in the dish)

3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1/4 teaspoon salt 


1. In a medium bowl, mix together the pears, mango, bell peppers, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, oil, lime juice, and salt.

2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 3 hours.
