Green Beans with Tomatoes and Garlic

  

Ingredients:

6 servings

1 pound fresh green beans, strings and ends removed
1/2 cup onions, chopped
4 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon sweet basil
1/4 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Saute onions and garlic in butter. Add tomatoes and basil.
  2. Place green beans over onions and garlic, add water. Cover until cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes.
