Selection: Choose plump blueberries with a silver frost. Colors may range from blue, black, bluish-black or purple.
Storing: In the refrigerator for 5 to 6 days. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet, then transfer them to a freezer bag. Frozen blueberries are best used within 1 year.
Preparation: Rinse blueberries just before using.
Serving: Add blueberries to cereal, oatmeal or yogurt. Layer blueberries, yogurt and granola to make a parfait. Use blueberries for pie filling, jam, jelly, syrup or juice.
