Season: September to October

Description: Figs provide a good sources of potassium and fiber. Potassium helps maintain healthy blood pressure, and fiber helps control cholesterol and keeps you regular.

Selection: Clean, dry, with smooth and unbroken skin. The fig should give slightly to touch, but is not mushy.

Storing: Refrigerate in plastic bag for up to 2 days.
